The North Carolina 55+ Population

The Show is designed to provide the growing  55+ NC population with products and services for their homes and leisure lifestyles. Learn more about this vibrant emerging demographic and tailor your offerings to their diverse interests and needs: 

• NC ranks 9 nationally for the number of people age 65 and older
• In the next two decades, the NC 65 and older population will increase from 1.7 to 2.7 million, a projected growth of 52%
• NC has more people 60 and older than under 18
• 1 in 5 NC residents will be older than 65 by 2025
• In 2020, an estimated 44,660 people 60 and older migrated from other states and abroad to NC
• An estimated 1 out of every 4 adults age 65 and older live alone
• 1 in 5 NC adults identify themselves as a caregiver; of these, 62% are caring for someone age 65 or older

Participation Information

Once exhibitor contracts have been received, exhibitors will receive a series of participation emails prior to the show:

• One month prior to the Show: Set-up, Show, and breakdown information 
• One week prior to the Show: All final Show participation details and contacts
• Two days before the Show: All final Show participation details and contacts
